Chicken Ark / Tractor

I have been looking at chicken arks and tractors for weeks trying to decide what to build in my small city yard. If they all live I have 8 hens to house. Is there a tractor or ark style that can house 8 hens and still be moved?

I am sure that there is. I have seen them that hold 50 birds and are moved every day. Just keep searching and you will find the perfect one.

We JUST got finished building our chicken tractor/forager (although ark is probably a more apt description given the torrential rain and flooding we've been having here the past few days!). We have 14 chickens (4 of whom are bantams) and it fits them comfortably and is super easy to move around the yard. Ours is NOT intended to be used for housing, just for foraging, so if you are going to use yours for housing you'll need something different.

I think you might be pushing it with 8 hens. Check www.thegardencoop.com for their ark or coop.
