Hey, I am so sorry for your loss. You will get more answers if you create your own post. A lot of people won't notice you too message since this thread it so long.
Your baby would likely not do well on its own. Chickens need to be with other chickens.
The raccoon will be back. Do not leave the chick in the coop or run until they are secure. Good luck! Lots of helpful people here but like I said, making your own post will help.

Hey! She is still going strong! Thanks for checking! Worried now about the length of the bone we cut. Did you leave a little bit or cut at the joint?

Mine was at the elbow, and I left a little bone sticking out, probably a tiny bit less than yours. I think it was two weeks later that the scabs fell off, and the bone end came off with them. Underneath the bone was fresh granulating tissue. It literally just fell off, totally blew my mind when it happened. I'm not sure what a shoulder bone-end will do, if it'll fall off? But I think you're doing awesome, make sure to keep that bone end VERY clean... I would keep it packed with triple antibiotic, to be safe.
She looks fantastic :)
