Chicken behaviour

This is going to sound odd, but can we get a photo of what is going on and could you elaborate on smelly? Is it rotten or yeasty what kind of smelly?
Thanks! Ok... I have just done it (with gloves) felt no egg but her rear ended was very smelly and looked super odd, I trimmed the feathers and cleaned it up with antiseptic wash. It doesn’t look right and it’s an understatement to say I’m very worried about her!

I’m way ahead of you... I already took the photo, just had to figure out how to upload it!
It smells rotten!

Oh my! Ok, that is alot of poop a soak would do her justice. I can't tell exactly what is going on yet due to the poo. I have a few ideas though. Give her a nice bath, and take another photo when her bum is clean.
And more questions. Is she eating well and what do her poos look like? Also does she always have such a juicy bottom or is that just poo and lubricant?

I will! My poor Lacey! She has been eating normally and her poop looks like normal as well. She seems to have gone downhill in the last 12 hours or so.
In the photo, that area looks almost raw... is it supposed to look like that? I’m unsure because it’s usually covered in fluff!
