Chicken block swap due June 15th

Yes and no! She has two brothers , the youngest is severely handicapped from birth and is in care, he doesn't even recognise Mary. The older is a pain in the butt and will do nothing to help. He didn't even go to the hospital yesterday. Mary is more than capable but it would be nice if someone helped her share the burden of this. I'm off to water her greenhouse in a minute as she hadn't realised we had a very warm day yesterday as she had been in doors all day. It's a new greenhouse and she has it full of new seedlings. As far as she knows she will come back at weekend as she has builders starting work on Monday so must be here to set them off.

I'm still looking for a pattern. I may design my own. See what I can come up with this weekend and let you all know definitly (sp) early next week, if that is ok. Are we to put the border on our square, or letting everyone put the borders on their own?
Your blocks should measure 12.5 x 12.5 so if you incorporate a border that is fine if it doesn't that is fine also, as I say you are the artist these are your blocks, be creative

Hi folks, finished all my chicken blocks so have been able to do other things. Sunday I was at a workshop. Not chickens and not really quilting but does have stitching and at least three layers so we could pretend it's a quilt. Whatever, I am really proud. I did the whole within the time of the workshop. I thought you might like to see it.

wish we were closer then you could teach us that is so pretty

Any updates on Majack's father?

I have been side tracked w/ the garden and the wedding gift I am making. Really hoping it comes together like it is in my head and I have enough time to complete it. Then I'll be back on track for these blocks, I either have 2 or 14 to go, depending on how many set(s) I end up sending in.

The border thing, I will have some w/ and w/o depending on the pattern. The paper pieced pattern was one I designed and it was my first complicated design to make, so I made it out of a piece of paper, so it will need borders to get to size. The others were already the right size.

Hi Folks, in Lincolnshire but returning to Birmingham first thing Tuesday. Still no change with Dad. He looks like he has fallen asleep, snoring gently. Seen him like that so many times at my house in front of the telly. Full of tubes though. He would be amazed at all your prayers and good wishes all the way from the. USA. He is a very well-liked man. Kassaundra, so good to hear your positive story. I'm afraid of being too hopeful but I can't help it and many people keep telling me gloom and doom stories.
Don't have broad band in Birmingham. Just bought an iPhone so I might be able to stay in touch.

His brain and body have been through a lot, they need time to heal. I view it as a good sign that he hasn't worsened, gives his body time to do what our bodies do best, fix themselves.

You and your family continue to be in the thoughts and prayers of mine.
