I also have two BA pullets. One has dark eyes, the other gray/green, just like in the pictures you posted. I was concerned at about 12 weeks that my gray eyed pullet was a cockerel also, they are 16 weeks now, and they are both definite females. Hope this helps! Love my Australorp girls! My absolute favorite breed.

MY AUSSIES , we just acquired one back & one blue Aussie hens plus 1 blue Aussie roo who is molting right now & one splash Aussie Roo plus we just got 17 Aussie chicks all black, hoping for some nice eggs & then maybe some Blue chicks, but waiting for a broody hen to hatch the blue chicks out, o and true the Roos are very sweet , SORRY ABOUT THE CAGES , they are all new here and are still under quarantine, no pic's of the splash Roo yet, but i will post those pics later. take care all

What secondary traits are you seeing that I am not, if it's that obvious?

I think they're just referring to how big and red the combs and wattles are because girls don't usually have them so big but some do and if she's laying eggs then she's obviously a girl lol
