Chicken Breed Focus - Marans

Have been told my teen bitties are possibly marans. Hope some of you can help ID. They were ID'd at TSC as Dominique; but the older they get the more I doubt it. They are showing no sign of black and white; just getting blacker and blacker with white tips on wings and a little white on chest of one. They do have whitish faces. One has feathers on her feet as well. View attachment 1795793

better pics please. at first sight looks like marans pullet. but does she have muffs and pea comb? in that case she probably would be an olive egger. beautiful anyway.

I am so "green" no pun intended....have no clue what muffs or pea comb are  but will post a better pic...lololol...but have to go take one... hopefully they will pose for me ... Thanks!

Hope these pics help. I have no clue what muffs and pea comb are... help on that please! I am quite a novice here! Ms. Tip in the top picture has no feathers on her legs; Oreo (named by my granddaughter due to thinking it was a Dominique) on the bottom pic does (as you can see.) Both were from the same group of chicks and both were almost identical when baby chicks. They both have white tips on their wing feathers; although one is more noticeable than the other. Both have the black legs and feet.

you can google pea comb and muffs in chicken.

sorry but I don't see what kind of comb they have. the first chicken is sort of fluffy around head so I don't know if she has muffs. they both look like pullets to me.
