Chicken Breed Focus - Wyandotte

I’m more of an accidental Wyandotte owner :gig I acquired an adult trio and 10 chicks Friday form a Poultry Auction. I literally JUST went for hatching eggs for my broody silkie, but ended up getting chicks for my broody cochin Bantam. The adults were too pretty to pass up although they are currently being dewormed :hmm
The adults are Blue Laced Red and so are 8 of the chicks, 2 are Golden Laced.

Sooo cute.

I've got 1 silver lace wing that we got as a day-old and hand raised. She's an odd one. Seems healthy and is growing but considerably smaller than the same age Australorps and Buff Orp. Here's Lilac. She's little but SO LOUD!!!

I heard that this breed is $100 per dozen but I think that's a rumor right? Dont know why someone would sell it for that much
I paid $90 for the trio and $0.50 for the chicks. The Silver Laced and Golden Laced are more common so they don’t sell for as much.
