Chicken breeders or Folks in South Africa?

@Nanna34 i'm not an eggspert on silkies yet but I don't think they should be much thinner then normal eggs, smaller yes but maybe not much thinner then normal eggs, It could be possible that they were fed more on greens and things that didn't have much calcium in, you could try giving them some normal chicken feed once or twice a day and some sort of calcium supplement and see if it gets better in a few days, if it stays the same well then maybe they do have thin shells lol, maybe someone else will have a bit more knowledge than me on silkies.

Thanks I put some oyster shells in their food it should help, I don't think the previous owners really cared for them that well

My beautiful Silkies, we put them in the rabbit pen because they fit in the hutch.
