Chicken Butt Emergency ‼️ Please Help!

I didn't want to tell you what to look for before you did it because sometimes the mind can play tricks. I was looking to see if ascites was causing the respiratory issues. Her bottom would feel like a water balloon.

She needs antibiotics and soon. Then, she needs testing to see what she has. I use RAL in texas. https://www.vetdna.com/test-type/avian-bird. I would test for mg first, and if negative move on to other respiratory diseases. I don't think she has infectious coryza - even though you and I are susceptible to it based on where we live. Her face is not swollen. I don't mean to alarm you but if she does not get help soon, she may pass. If you get a broad spectrum antibiotic on board, you can buy some time to get answers.
Ok yeah it def did not feel like water balloon. Unfortunately im unable to get her antibiotics

My fam doesn’t want to spend any money on a vet/antibitoics… is there anything I can do with recourses I already have or is it a lost cause?
It's not necessarily a lost cause as sometimes they get over respiratory infections themselves, but hers sounds severe and she's got something else going on with what she's expelling from her vent.

If she's got a reproductive type infection, that's not going to cure itself.

If you have chicken vitamins, I'd give her a vitamin boost to help her fight this.

Look and see if you have any oregano flakes or extract. If flakes, put some of those in a mash made of chick crumbles or her feed and some water. A tiny amount of garlic powder too. This is in NO way a replacement for antibiotics, but has very low-level antibiotic properties, and I'd guess it's better than nothing.

It is not going to be enough, however, I do appreciate your positivity @Debbie292d. I am trying to figure out how far away she is from me.

I can't even believe I'm suggesting those things but if I were in that predicament with no other recourse, I'd do it.

Then we should go full-force with the homeopathics. 1/2 of garlic chopped finely, 1/2 teaspoon of ginger finely chopped, 1/4 teaspoon of onion minced, black pepper seed (about 10 of them), 1/2 ounce of aloe vera juice, and 1/4 cup of honey. Blend together and then filter. 1 part of the mix to 3 parts of water. She is pretty severe, but God's miracles are unlimited.
