We won't get above freezing until at least the 14th of February now. More snow on the way and even the Carolinas here are getting snow and cold which is pretty unusual.

General animal check today - first warmish day, too hot for 4 layers of clothing and a fleece cap.

Dog - great

Ducks - generally fine but no eggs yet. Sun, fresh water in their pools and soaked peas... that's the life. Will soon separate the KC and WH tribes and start adding layer feed.

Bees - all the hives doing well, even very well despite fully frozen January. First flight day of the new year. Laid down some fondant but without protein, it's too early for that.

First daffodils trying to get started.

All in all a good start.

They all look great Frank. So happy to see they are making it through this not so nice winter we are having. So far all of mine are doing well too.
