Today I went out to check on the girls and one of my girls was still in the coop and was trying to come out but could not stand very well and could not walk. I have looked her over but not seeing any damage or sores. It appears she can not put pressure on her right leg. She is a 10 month Barred Rock hen. She used to be my alpha and looked like she was going to be my first layer back at the end of October but then she got fowl pox. My others had it also but very minor, she had it the worst but recovered well. The only thing is she has still not laid her first egg but my other three that are the same age are laying. I have checked for possible egg bound but did not feel anything. She ate a little from my hand but is not eating much and will not drink anything either so now getting worried she will get dehydrated. She makes what I can only describe as whimpers off and on, she usually is very vocal. Just 2 days ago she was pushing the others over to get to the scraps I brought out. All our chickens are feed layer feed, occasional scraps (broccoli, strawberries, pumpkin for a treat, and other veggies) and I put in crushed eggshells off and on since half of my girls are laying. All ladies eat the same thing and she is the only one having problems.

We have separated her inside with us so we could keep an eye on her. Please help, she is my favorite. Pictures included.

How's her crop? Full empty. Does it smell sour? Poop normal. where are you located , Just the state is fine. You can go back into your profile and add it. See I'm from Maine. That helps us help you.

I'm in Texas (Dallas Area). Poop seems to be normal, no blood or anything weird. Crop looks clear, no smell and no hard spots, that I can feel.
