Chicken comb torn and bleeding. Beak tip broken and bleeding.

Chickens comb is partially torn off and bleeding. The top part of her beak tip is broken and bleeding. I just brought the chicken in the garage, cleaned off her comb with a warm wet cloth, applied a mixture of silver gel, anitibiotic ointment, and coconut oil to the comb and the broken beak tip. I have offered water and wet food (mashed banana mixed with crumble and some water) but she doesnt seem to be interested. Shes in an XL dog crate seperate from the rest of the flock. Please refer to pictures and give me advice.. this is my first ever injury so I am feeling a bit panicky.

p.s- i have no idea what happened to her. im thinking she somehow got it caught on something in the run, as to what, i have no clue. ive made sure everything is safe and secure. i did notice some of the other chickens kind of picking on her, but could they really cause that much damage? like i said, im new to this!

Glad that she is doing o.k.!
Can you post some photos of your coop and run?
How many chickens do you have - are they all pullets?

What type of fencing do you have in your coop and run? Raccoons can reach their hands through chicken wire and pull chickens into and through in pieces. Also with hardware cloth and chicken wire if the chicken runs into it, say by running away from another chicken, she could injure herself. I would go over the perimeter of your coop this evening to look for any small openings that a small predator could get through. Sorry about your hen’s injuries, and I hope she gets along well.

I’m sorry your girl is going through this. You’ll need to consider that the others will be tempted to peck her wound. If you could keep her separate for a bit while she heals that would be nice. Quick stop (for dogs nails septic powder) is convenient to help stop the bleeding and it has sulfate in it. Easy to find & inexpensive. Please keep in mind her beak is sore and other than cleaning it topically (betadine is a good antibacterial & disinfectant)
You could just pour it over the beak. She’ll need special attention that she eats. Soak her regular feed with water make a nice mush of it. Keeping her hydrated is very important. You could add electrolytes to her water or a packet of save a chick. Her comb I cannot comment on perhaps a few more pictures so we can see the extent of the injuries. You can find these simple first aid items @ Walmart. Best wishes

All is well with the chicken. I cleaned it and applied medicine and then later applied pine tar to seal it while it healed.. it is looking great and the other chickens are leaving her alone. Her beak is looking better as well. Shes eating and drinking and has normal activity! thanks for the concerns everyone...and advice!! SOOO appreciated!
