Chicken Coop cam of my girls sleeping on the roost

That shouldn't be a problem. Cellphone signals are coming from a remote tower. This coming from the cam to your router...I believe.
I think the ad said that 'there was no need to configure a router' and that to go to their website to view.....which leads me to believe that this camera sends the signal to a tower then you view it online...or one of those 'smart' phone.

EDITED to add link: this is where I read that
but reading further...it does say that it sync with your home router so.....
it's just confusing to me, not up on latest tech stuff anymore.

No need to worry about cell phone towers...........

You plug the camera directly into your router (in the house) to configure. Then you unplug it and install it in the coop (within 100' of the router for best signal). The router will pick it up and you can view the images from a computer, laptop, tablet or cell phone from your house or anywhere in the world!

Easy as pie to do!

Thanks.....kind of like when I first started using a laptop with the router, was pretty easy.
Now I just need a spare $75, unemployed can't buy toys. :D

Your cell reception may not have anything to do with your internet connection if you use, cable or DSL for Internet. The signal/picture will be based on your router band width and distance to the camera limitations. The only time the cell coverage would matter is if you were using your cell as your Internet connection (i.e., a hotspot).

Argh - just saw all the other posts and how long ago. Where's the delete post button?
