Last year I made some wool felt hen ornaments. I wanted to make an ornament for each breed of chicken I have kept, but I only got around to making three- Buff Orp, Speckeled Sussex and Buckeye. Maybe someday I will finish the rest!

Here is my newest craft a hen saddle

It came out to big!!!! so I have to make a smaller one - these saddles are going in my chicken first aid kit.

I also made my own saline solution for the chickens for minor cuts and scrapes.

I have a little cabinet with all of my chicken first aid supply's like,saline solution,hen saddles,gauze,tape,cotton balls,rubber gloves,salve,ACV,Q-tips,corn starch (helps stop bleeding) you get the idea. It's handy to have all the supply's in one spot

A few minutes!!! it's really easy and only a couple of ingredients salt,baking soda and water.
