Chicken diapers?

An Extremely nice woman named Nancy Townsend makes diaper harnesses for ducks and geese. I bought her baby harnesses and adult harnesses for my ducks (for when they come inside due to extreme temps, illness, injury). It's a lycra suit that doesn't get in the way of wings and doesn't fall off. I'm positive she could make one to fit a chicken just fine. She even gives out her personal number if you want to ask questions over the phone rather than email...

Some people I heard that show use them. My daughter made one so I know they are not that difficult to make. She made it in hopes of having a house chicken. Yaaa, that did not pan out. LOL We all have our things. People use to have house chickens in the old days. They were usually caged though. I will ask my DD if she knows where she got the pattern. If she does I will send it to u. K? jeanmarie

This is my polish pullet who's in the house recuperating from having her head picked raw. We tried many other housing situations for her, and nothing worked. The worst was in the rabbit hutch, with our lonely boy rabbit who has a crush on her...

She's sporting a lovely blue diaper made from instructions I found on YouTube. She also has a red one and a green one. It was easy, and I always have lots of scraps of fabric around. I expect you could even make them with a needle and thread if you don't have a machine.
