Chicken diapers

so i don’t know what forum this should go in so I’m doing it in this one..... my mom wants to let her chicks in the house, but doesn’t like the poop that comes with it. I don’t mind cleaning it but she doesn’t want that in the house, is there chick diapers for a low price. The chicks are gonna be 4 weeks on Monday. I have a silkie and olive Egger chicks, any suggestions

It might be tricky finding chicken diapers for smaller chicks, but try on Etsy! They have an array of different kinds, whereas amazon just has one or two.

make sure you do your research before. will this bird room around the whole house or just one room? will it be alone? What type of bedding are you going to use? Is it going to have a pen?

My friend has had house chickens for at least 30 years, probably was the first person to purposely do so. The diapers are a much bigger pita than cleaning up when it happens.

She had cleaning supplies around the house and took care of IT as it happened. NO her house didn't smell . She is chicken less at present. Her last 3 bantam hens (serama & silkie) died a day apart from Marek's disease. The only one she allowed outdoors was the silkie(because she didn't fly) so I am guessing the silkie brought Marek's in with her.

She has been waiting for her feed store to get in some frizzles. She decided that is what she wants next.
