Chicken Dictionary for Dummies?

Hey, how about a pronunciation list??

As a newbie to chickendom, some of these names are befuddling. Ones like Rhode Island Red, Polish, Delaware, no problem. But what about Kraienkoppe? Is it KRE-in-cop, KRAY-een-cop, KRE-in-COP-ee??

Is Cochin pronounced CO-kin or CO-chin?

And there's more...

Help!

As far as the LOL and the ROFLs and all that go, if you all go to urbandictionary.com most of the internet style acronyms, although most of the chicken oriented ones don't show up. There are some adult themes for some words due to the "urban" part I guess. Just fyi

I wish I had seen this thread long ago - it would have saved me much confusion.
Since the site seems to have more female than male posters, I first thought DH meant "Dead Husband," then figured that wasn't correct so it must be "Dumb Husband." "Dear Husband," never came to mind.
The idea of a wife saying something complientary about a husband seems wrong. I've never been married, but all of my friends are. Their wives would be correct more often than not by using Dumb Husband. I'm sure my friend's wives spend a lot of time shaking their heads either in frustration or laughter.
