My 2 1/2 y/o hen hasn't been feeling well the past couple days.
She has foamy yellowish sticky diarrhea on her back end stuck to her feathers. Earlier I saw her poop some liquidy dark poop too.
She stands around mostly by herself with her feathers ruffled up. She also feels light when I pick her up.
She is still eating. I gave her some scrambled eggs earlier & she loved it. I also gave her some of my probiotics yesterday in some oatmeal. But she only had a few bites.
I've seen when my chickens poop they have round things moving in their poop (tapeworm segments I think?). But I have no experience worming chickens. And they always seem healthy and fine even with worms. I guess I like the "natural" approach...
Are worms making her feel sick? Or is it the flu or something? I've seen my other hens act like this before and then they were fine after a couple days. But I'm kind of worried about the yellow poo. Doesn't seem normal.
Please help.
