I have a cooker spaniel, basset hound, and a bichon frise' who all get also along great. The chickens
stay out of trouble with my hound dog as long ad they don't bother her food or try to get in her dog bed. She let's them hear about it very loudly if they do. My cocker is so old she just don't care they run all over her and boss her around . My bichon likes to chase my youngest but largest chicken , don't want any thing to do with my surrogate bantem mama. She whips all dogs & cats and puts them on the run. MRS. CHICK RULES and is a pecking force to be reckoned with. They step back a few steps when she sashes by.

I have four Italian greyhounds, and mostly Seramas. You wouldn't believe how funny it is to see a fifteen pound dog that frequently beats up coyotes running in terror from a ten-ounce chicken. The dogs are absolutely terrified of the chickens. The Seramas really take advantage of it. They love to chase the dogs away from their kibble, then eat it themselves.
