Just stating what I saw.Really @aart? That feels a little argumentative.

"Passively aggressively hugged to death"Roomy let it go...you're going to be passively aggressively hugged to death in here until someone gets mad and gets the thread closed down.
We used homeopathic remedies on our dobe with Wobblers. After three weeks of faithful and careful treatment she went from barely being able to walk to have to be carried on a stretcher. She had surgery and was up the next day. Not a believer in homeopathy. If we’d kept on she would have died. As it was, post surgery she lived five more years to age thirteen which is a good age for a Doberman.
Are you aware of who runs the poultydmv site? This person is not a vet.Not fair to blame me for the discussion moving away from the OP's chickens. Some fraudulent research was posted that had to be countered with the truth - this is fun and informative and NOT BORING. This is also a good example of how opinions are formed, how nonchalantly the public is lied to, how it's okay to trust - but only after you verified. Except for the spring chickens, everyone remembers the food pyramid from the 90s (recommended by another government ) - remember when the key to health was eating 12 slices of bread a day? That's the key to diabetes, which unfortunately flew off the charts.
Found an excerpt from the documentary where it's explained how they invented special rules where they didn't want to take into consideration studies with under 150 subjects. Because... there was a high quality study on hay fever with 144 participants that they didn't want to include! But they routinely fund and collaborate on trials with less than 150 participants, they changed the rules just for homeopathy. That's called moving the goal posts. The excerpt is on this page:

But, speaking of hay fever... I just realized ... Benadryl! There were those famous studies a few years ago reporting that 'Benadryl shrinks your brain'. Maybe that's why they don't want the public to know that homeopathy is good for hay fever. Who wouldn't want an option that doesn't shrink their brain? *snort* All anticholinergic drugs shrink the brain, there is special concern about allergy medications because people take them long term, so be careful out there.

But don't self medicate with homeopathy either, chronic problems should be dealt with by a professional.
Back to chickens, homeopathy is recommended by poultrydvm, an excellent resource. It can cure/manage a lot of Marek's cases, I found an old Marek's thread where some were successful, some weren't, the reason why not everyone was successful is the fact that homeopathy for Marek's differs from case to case. Btw @Willowspirit , for paralysis there are dozens of remedies, the treatment is highly individualized. Who, after a bad experience at the vet, or M.D., says that they don't believe in mainstream medicine? (Not me.) The key is to let them compete to serve you and not be married to just one system of medicine.
I have one more post that belongs in this thread, it's about the history of Cina, it's rather entertaining. Stay tuned and know that I looove your chickens!
