Chicken duck questions

My geese ducks and chickens do free range together. So that may be doable something you can try.

I raised ducklings and chicks together and they got along splendidly. And then whenever I added chicks to the flock, the ducks were fine with them. But of course they were raised with chicks from day 1. I never had any issues with the chicks going toward my duck pond, but the pond was elevated.

Your Ducks like you...Your not a Chicken...Just have a plan B in place incase things go sideways.....

right now am kinda raising ducks and chickens together, depends how you look at it. my coop is about 24 long by 10 wide, and we divided 5 by 10 (with the walls its closer to 45) for my ducks and geese the rest of the coop (19 by 10) is for the chickens but they are divided by a wall/hardware cloth (the wall goes up about 2 feet then the rest is hardware cloth) and so far i have had no problems with this set up,

expect when ever i visit my ducks the chickens think am giving the ducks treats and want some (even though they get treats before the ducks do)
