Chicken dying??? Sleeping - not alert

got a vet nearby you could ask?
Discharge hard to tell in pic if is blood or egg albumin or just watery poo. she could have internal injury if she fell wbile sleeping up high. How was she yesterday ?
Is she warmer or cooler than normal

I think eggbound as well or she may have red mite these are under the poop in the hutch if you scrape it off and look carefully there is small black mites crawling if any other chickens go down with this you should put red might spray in the hut and powder on the hen. She look like a beautiful hen so is a real shame that she is ill.

I don't know if she's been laying, but egg production went way up recently so most of the girls are laying as far a I can tell.

Unfortunately when I checked on the chickens this afternoon I didn't go into the coop, but gave them a pumpkin outside.
It was two speckled sussex who were really eating it up but I don't know if she was one of them.

So she was for sure fine at least 7 hours ago, probably less.

Breathing is...slow? All she's doing is breathing. She'll still take water if I open her mouth. I did see her open her eyes for a moment.

I don't see any injuries except for a little blood on one of her eyes

The speckled sussex are my favorite. Why is it always the favorite?

Poops in the coop seem fine. All other chickens seem well

how exactly are you giving the water?
....Wait.... you said blood on an eye? Or in an eye? photo

I was trying a syringe, but it's missing the push part. So I used a little cup after that. She swallows.

Blood on the outside of the eye.

I really hope this isn't something that spreads through the flock. Maybe I'm just really bad at feeling for inbound eggs.

Giving her a warm bath just in case. She's got nice deep breaths. But can barely move.
