Chicken EGG Candling Day 4

Help! I only see a large dark blob (I think its the yolk). Is this normal or were all the eggs not fertile? Please help

Day 4 is too early to condemn any eggs! With experience you will learn to see the subtle changes of day 4, but wait until day 10 for a good look at your eggs.

We all started with our first incubation. Relax and enjoy the experience. Just remember:

Don't count your chickens before they hatch,
And it's okay to be like a mother hen.

Don't expect all your eggs to hatch. A lot of things can go wrong, even for a hen on a nest. Do your best, and be happy with any hatchlings. And then you will be compelled to do it again!
