Chicken Eggs

Ohh gotchu, yeah i was told differently lol. But yeah i have seen them doing the deed so hopefully they are fertile but should i do something to keep the egg warm or just let her handle it on her own?
Does she look broody?

If not you can keep the egg in a cool 45 to 65 degrees, area of the house for 2 to 3 weeks in a egg carton pointy end facing down, before incubating.

That gives you plenty of time to get an incubator.

If you want to hatch her eggs, she or another chicken has to be broody or you have to have an incubator. Otherwise, collect them and eat them.

Welcome.
Just because she laid an egg does not mean she will go broody and want to sit on the eggs.

No she doesn’t, she still perches up on the stick. I was wondering though if i put it in the incubator she won’t care for them after they hatch right? Or will she still know it’s her chicks?

You have to raise them, she won't know it's hers. But if you have another hen that's broody she will accept them.

I’ll try cutting a plastic box and put some bedding and try making some dummy eggs see if she goes broody. If not I’ll just do what i was recommended and get an incubator from the store. I was also wondering if i add dummy eggs will it promote her to stop laying or what?

The fake eggs is to show her where to lay them, has nothing to do with her changing her laying pattern. Being broody is something you can't force to happen. It will or it won't.
