Chicken extrackter fan

Hi I am a small chicken keeper and just wondering if a small extractor fan would be ok in my coop

The coop is abought 1.7m long by 1.2 and there are 2 chickens

Well you probably don't need it, as long as there's some venting going on. But I thinks it's a good idea for a bigger flock or a poorly vented coop.... I might try it in my next coop build thanks for the inspiration.

Yes, fans are good to use. Just make sure that the chickens can't get near it and hurt themselves.

That's true - fans + chickens should be kept apart. - or more than feathers will be flying. Welcome to Backyard chickens

Extractor fans are like bathroom fans, there is a cover. Very chicken friendly.

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

If you have a lot of heat, they are great. If you are only looking to move air, a floor fan will work too. And yes, make sure any fan you use can not be accessed by any chicken.
