Chicken feathers around face only quills

I have an Aruacana who is being quarantined right now due to a sprained leg. She's been alone for almost two weeks. I noticed the other day that the fluff around her face beak and face is gone, with only bits of quills exposed. Do I have a mites/ lice infestation on my hands here?
