"They're moving and killing all the corn! Next they're probably gonna kill us! RUN!" Hyla shrieked, bolting around the field to the hills beyond.

Clementine and Olive panicked. They immediately sprinted in the opposite direction of Hyla. When they found shelter under a bush, they realized that they were now quite lost.

Hobbes started, he had never before seen anything like it, a huge thing was moving back and forth across the field, then he remembered a story he had heard when he was a chick of huge machines that ate corn, these machines were controlled by humans, hobbes yelled after hyla "come back! It's safe!"

Come back he squawked! Follow my squawking and come here! We can see if we can find some corn after these left!!!"

Back at the coop, it was growing dark. Juli was flying into a panic. "They should be back by now!" "Calm down, Mom, it's okay. I am sure they'll be back soon," Miney said, while trying to comfort Bonnie, who had been pecked quite hard by FluffBomb.

Clementine and Olive were very scared, and also kinda cold. They huddled together in a scrape that they dug in the ground under a bush, too scared to make any noises in case there were predators.
