Candy the raven suddenly cackled. "Your owner is bringing those new hens." "What new hens?" Romeo asked. "I like hens." "Well, I don't," Meeny said, glaring at Confetti. "Calm down and let Ashes explain," Juliette said. "And Candy, we prefer Keeper, not owner." "Whatever," Candy replied. "Ashes says there are three of them. They are the ones that Confetti came from." "Oh, those poor hens!" Miney said. (Confetti came from an animal hoarding situation). "All the others were given away since those people are moving," Candy said.

"Oh no" Bunty almost fainted, "I'm to shy, I hate having to get used to them. They will probably criticize my hair. What do I do, what do I do, come on Bunty you can do this!" she said to herself.
"new hens!" Exclaimed Tillie popping her head out of the coop, "ooh, i wonder if they are some lovely purebreds like me" (she's not purebred she just thinks she is)

Suddenly, the Keeper's older daughter Eden came out holding a dog crate, followed by her youngest sister Ally. "Phew, no sign of the triplets," Confetti sighed. (the triplets are the keeper's middle daughters, Elle, Ada, and Eve.) Eden brought the crate into the run and opened it. One small brown hen immediately popped out followed by a little blue hen. A black hen cowered in the crate. Juli ran forward to welcome the newcomers. "Hi," she said. "HI!" the brown hen said. "OH MY GOODNESS, I LOVE YOUR FEATHERDO!" she shouted toward Bunty, causing the chicks to run toward their mothers to get away from the noise. "I AM LUMEN! THE HIDING CHICKEN IS ASTRA AND THIS IS STELLA!

Tillie's head popped straight back as soon as she saw Eden.
"oh thanks" Bunty said timidly blusing, hoping she wasn't being sarcastic. "how are you then" trying to start a conversation
