Hello everyone,

I am sorry to say but @Maya Vance needs help with her poor girl Daisy! I have no idea what to do..... she posted as a article so I new she wouldn't get help. Please help her. This was her article post:

So my poor baby Daisy got attacked last night- we thought she died and got carried off.
Right before I had to leave we found her... half-dead and very badly injured and shaken.
She's asleep now in the basement with a heater and some water and ibuprofen,
I really don't know how to help her. I really don't feel up to killing her, but if I must, please tell me how to do it humanely...

Ooo, that's nasty, I'm sorry she's been hurt!
she'll need electrolytes and non-pain killer neosporin or topical bacitracine on that, clean off the owie, she needs to be very warm. She might not make it, but if she can survive the shock, she has a fighting chance.
Are there punctures like a hawk attack?

Ouch..Poor baby...the only thing I know to do is spray on Vetericyn. What attacked her?
How long ago was she attacked?

Ok, I spread her wounds with some ointment and she's drinking water and sleeping.

do you have a vet near by that will take chickens in case of emergency??
where in saint Louis do you live cause I could look up some veterinarian offices that take chickens

I don't think so, when I opened the back door before we found her I heard some rustling and didn't see anything.
