So I was out with my chickens collecting eggs and changing water and feeding. I realized some of the poop has little white worms. I think it’s tape worms. How do I treat this and are the eggs safe to eat?

Tapeworms can be treated with Equimax Equine paste. Dosage is 0.03ml per pound or 0.15ml for a 5 pound bird given orally. It's best to dose early in the morning before birds are fed. There's a 14 day withdrawal period.

My hens recently had worms so I had to treat them with medication.

Not sure if this available where you are but it treats multiple types of worms and you put it in the chicken’s water. I can’t remember the egg withdrawal period, but I wouldn’t eat her eggs for two weeks just to be safe.

Could you post a picture or video of the poop with worms?
