You can repeat once a week for a couple of weeks.I am pretty sure I am done with treatment of my chicken, btw how may times should I give my chickens probiotics after a antibiotic treatment, my probiotic says to do one serving of it for 2 gallons, should I repeat once or more times?
Thank you. I have a question. We had donedg the amoxicillin treatment for 10 days with our hen. Although her egg laying is not as fast as it used to be she hasb't layed a single lash egg since the one posted earlier in the thread. Earlier I read about a treatment that could also be 14 days, should we be giving her amoxilicillin for 4 more days or is it good enough? You can repeat once a week for a couple of weeks.
I'm hopeful things will continue to go well for you.
It just occurs to me I only gave her one capsule per day for 10 days, have I done something wrong have I not given her enough of the amox? Such a small detail that I stupidally overlooked. You can get Aqua Mox amoxicillin online and possibly from a feed store. Dosage is 125-250 mg twice a day given orally for 10 days. That looks like a lash egg, typical of salpingitis, inflammation of the oviduct. Chicken layer feed is best for her, ACV won’t do anything for reproductive disorders. A human calcium tablet can help if laying unusual eggs or egg binding. Here is where to find amoxicillin (Aqua Mox

Also how many days do I have to wait since the tylosin and amox treatments to be able to eat my hens eggs again?
Generally Amoxicillin is given 10-14 days. If you have gone the 10 days and she's improved, then you can stop if you want to.It just occurs to me I only gave her one capsule per day for 10 days, have I done something wrong have I not given her enough of the amox? The dosage we gave her is 250 miligrams. Also, could we feed our bird her own eggs she laid while taking amoxicillin, or is that a bad thing to do?Generally Amoxicillin is given 10-14 days. If you have gone the 10 days and she's improved, then you can stop if you want to.
What dose is the capsule you were giving?
There is a one day withdrawal period for Tylan, so you are likely past that period.
Amoxicillin withdrawal period seems to be a little harder to nail down, but looks like 7 days after the last dosing. You may want to research that time period just to be sure.
IF you or whoever consumes her eggs are allergic to any of the medications you have given her, then it's best to extend the withdrawal period.

Thanks. I have another question. We had our her seperated from the other hens for a while. Should we put her back with them now? Or do we not need to seperate her in the first plat?If she's better then that's a good thing.
Usually you don't feed the eggs back when you give a medication that has a withdrawal period since there can be some medication residue in the egg.
Personally, I think it should be fine.
If you're worried about withdrawal periods, then throw away the eggs for at least 7 days, don't feed them back.
