My BR hen, Petrie was doing the hiccup/cough thing today! She has a super fluffy bum that had gotten a little poopy, so I sat down with her in my lap, on her back with some soapy water to clean her feathers. After I put her down, I gave her some freeze-dried grasshopper treats and a few minutes after she gobbled them, she started hiccuping....not steadily, more like a couple or three every 3-5 minutes....sounds like it might just go away?
