Hey Y'all,
I'm an old Texas gal starting back into chickens after 35yrs.
I'm in North Cental TX North of Fort Worth.
I'm so excited I'm wearing myself out trying yo rehab our old chicken coop.
I'm going to have Wyandotte mix pullets that should be laying in January.
Found this group after someone recommended joing a chicken forum community to help me refresh my skills with raising those little Fluffy Butt's.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to be in this goup.

I, too, had chickens some 30 years ago when I decided to do it again. I joined here about three years ago and was impressed with the knowledge and friendliness I encountered.

Oh, chicken-keeping is like riding a bike, so I'm sure your chickens will have you back coasting in no time! We will definitely be here along for the ride, though!

Wyandottes are so pretty (dare I say the prettiest!) So you're getting a mix of colors? That will be fun! (I definitely can't stick to one color. )
