Chicken house ideas

I am wanting to build a simple chicken house for my nine banties and would like some ideas! They will free range during the day, so it won't need a run.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

With bantams you should have 3 square feet per bird in the coop. With 9 bantams, that would be a 27-square-foot coop. A coop 5 feet by 5 feet would be 25 square feet. You probably could do that.

It is probably still a good idea to have a run in case you need to leave the chickens locked up while you are gone.
