The Tempura Lorax previously "coco"....we have a love hate relationship....


Anyone know if this is a hen or cockerel? I do not know how old it is....or even what it is....any help appreciated.

Silkies are very hard to sex before 4-5 mos. and sometimes now until they lay or crow. How old is Lorax? The picture is small but the comb seems narrow - that can be the sign of a female silkie. If you could post a closeup of the comb it would be easier to tell.

I think you'd do best posting clear photos on the "Silkie thread," where breeders will offer their opinion. Nice looking bird of any sex.
