Chicken is limping and favoring her left leg

Hello,
My 5 month old chicken is favoring her left leg. She can put weight on it , but continues to hold it up and stretch ot her toes as if she is scratching. It has been 3 days. Should I take her to the vet or give her more time to improve? I looked at her foot and it looks normal like her other foot. No signs of injury or swelling that I can see. Any suggestions?

A sprain might be possible from jumping off the roost or a mating injury. Look for any green bruising, redness, or swelling. If the toes begin to curl under let us know. Less possible, but at this age still important is to consider Mareks if it gets worse. Do you know if she was vaccinated?
