We thought this Buff Orpington was broody because she was sitting in the nesting box. We separated her and took her to a cool place to break the broodiness and noticed she wasn't pooping. Yesterday she was pretty out of it so I tube-fed her some honey water and salt water and that seem to perk her up give her a warm bath and a little enema water to clean her vent. This happened once before and wondering why this keeps happening. Am I doing it right and what else can I do?

Get a bottle of Poultry Nutri Drench and give her the recommended amount orally and in her water. it has molasses in it and that will help regulate her bowels.
you can also give your bird just a small bit of pure molasses. Molasses acts as a laxative for poultry. it's just a tiny amount. I would check on the internet to see how much that dosages for Pure molasses.
Best,
Karen

If she is broody, she may only poop just once a day. Getting her broken from her broodiness would be a good idea since she is lethargic.

I agree with @3riverschick Poultry Nutri-Drench is very good - so follow your bottles directions or weigh your hen and direct dose her at 1cc per 3lbs of weight.
Get her hydrated well, then offer her normal feed to see if she will eat for you. A lot of broodies will not take care of themselves, so check her over for any lice/mites and see that her vent is free and clear of poop, etc.

You mention this happened before - was this with the same bird or you have had trouble with other birds doing this?
