Nothing like bad weather to upset a persons day..lol

Just updating. Not much new to report. BUT BC is finally mingled into the flock. She stands side by side with the others at the scrap pan and runs to me when I come out with food. Still a little flighty but so much progress. Mr Rooster still picks on her though lol. Since the Bantam Roos left he has started his crowing!!! The coop light comes on around 2 thirty am and I can hear him out there crowing away lol.
BC's face has gotten real red in the last few days!!! I check the nest boxes a couple times a day and also other places she hangs out. just in case. CANT WAIT!! lol its driving me nuts. I will try to get some new pics up.

Nice weather never stays nice long enough. And sometimes the nice weather is overshadowed by the knowledge that the bad weather is always on its way. lol

Big Chickn laid an egg!!!! I will try to get a pic up later. Nice size and a very pretty teal greenish color. Cant wait to see what her laying cycle will be. I went in to check on her because my son said she was in the nest early and Lacy was in there laying her egg lol. I am soooo happy lol. I think that means she has finally settled down?

It s hard to get the color to show correctly. They are more of a teal color than this shows. very pretty!! AND YUMMY!!!
