Well, our coop doesn't look new or as prestine any more. It's a bit dusty and well loved and used already. Hae Hae, Daisy, Clucky, Chow Chow and Melissa are all fit and healthy and look happy. Hae Hae and Daisy got broody, I broke Daisy's broodiness but we gave in to Hae Hae(she didn't give up) ... She is now the adoptive mother to 3 healthy silky chicks she raised herself from bought fertilized eggs(Scramble, Peanut and Sherbert). And we have two silky hens now! Pom Pom and Nugget. We keep them in a separate run as the girls gave them such a rough time, I couldn't bare it. They are quiet and content at the top of the garden. 20weeks old and no sight of an egg! They're like the hen equivalent of my cats!! We've really enjoyed becoming chicken keepers and love watching them with their funny ways. But obviously we still have tons to learn.
