I went to close my chicken when all of a sudden, one of my silver laced wyandottes started squawking and banging her head on the roof. She did this several times before she feel onto her food, and swung around squaking. This clearly isn't normal because my other chickens were very afraid and ran into the nesting box to hide. I then picked her up and laid her on top their nest, which she preceded to calm down and stay. Is there anything wrong with her? I don't want her first continuing this strange behavior.

Did she maybe get he toes stuck in the door?
Once I pinched a hen's toe with a brick on the garden and she screamed bloody murder.

Keep an eye on her.

I will post pics of the coop tonight. But, she was not startled, she wasn't stuck, and she flew herself into the roof, not just raising her neck.
