Chicken laid egg

I would leave an egg or two in the nest (dummy eggs will work). Remove her eggs as she lays them. It is only necessary to remove eggs if they may be excessively chilled or frozen. Keep them inside at moderate temperature and humidity, and turn daily. When/if she goes broody return as many eggs as she can cover using the freshest. Storing eggs at 65/70 F and approximately 50 % humidity, I have maintained viability up to 21 days.
