CHICKEN LOOKS SICK PLEASE HELP

The absolute most I would give a 6 pound hen is 0.15 ml. This dose will might treat roundworms.

From left to right:
Small = 0.1 ml = 1.87 mg ivermectin
Medium = 0.25 ml = 4.675 mg ivermectin

Large = 0.5 ml = 9.35 mg ivermectin
.

The blob next to the grain of rice is 0.025ml (0.4675 mg ivermectin)

Some of you might want to know this...

1 ml of paste = 1 ml of liquid
From left to right:

Small = 10mg - 1/10 cc (0.1 ml)
Medium = 25mg - 1/4 cc (.25 ml)
Large = 50mg - 1/2 cc (0.5 ml)

Can you bring het inside or use a heat lamp on her? Sick birds get very cold which only makes them sicker. About 80 to 85 degrees will help her.

See if she will eat something solid like bread, crackers, warm oatmeal, something with calories. Even berries are good to help keep blood sugar up, hydrate her and give her calories.

Is there anything in her crop right now? Feel the right side of her breast where the crop is.

Good she is eating. Keep her warm and check her crop in the morning to make sure it emptied over night.

Keep us posted! :)
