Chicken lost tail.

One of the strays was gone for a few days and cane back with no tail feathers... like the tail (I don't know what its actually called) is gone. What could this be?

Sounds like a great escape (from a predator) if you ask me, I think your chicken is lucky that's all that's missing lol.

I thought one of the other neighbors might have tried to get her. I've heard them talk about killing the rooster :0(
If I could afford to make them a pen, I'd protect them all.

Could you get free pallets or you could use old screen doors. Bad neighbors make life tough sorry for your troubles. :/

That's a great idea. I have two pallets. Do you have any info on how to use them?

Just type in the search bar how to build a run with pallets or start a new post someone will help you out. 2 pallets won't be enough can you get some more?

I guess that depends on how big you want your run. Did you look on your local craigslist free section? Many times you can get free wire, pallets, posts just check it daily. Best of luck I hope you restart a new thread so you can get the assistance your in need of.
