I have 2 silkies (small fluffy ones) and 3 lavender orpington (purple-ish blue ones bigger) and then i have an orange and bklack americauna and a leghorn mix (white one)

I found your post where you said it!!!! :th :duc:oops: Sorry. lol. Those are some gorgeous chickens though! We've got three leghorns now but they're still the yellowish/white chick form. Slowly becoming dinosaur chickens.

Leghorns are pretty in my opinions, handfuls, but pretty and i can't wait for mine to get bigger, i find them cute as chicks but love them more as adults, then when they are adults i wish they were chicks again...:barnie:oops::p

Awww... sorry you are not feeling well!! Hope Chicken Man and the kiddos all take really good care of you now! Feel better soon! :hugs

sorry that you and your kids aren't feeling well ): GWS:hugs:fl

Thank you both!! Chicken Man and Monster (our 7, almost 8, year old) have it the worst, I think. I'm hitting the really bad days of it now. I swear, it's like some kind of Summer flu without fever. Babygirl is on the upswing. She's almost well! I still get to take care of everybody and all the animals and clean..... Momma never rests, even when she's sick.

I know, so far, they're the fastest chicks we've got. Never seen one move so dang fast! Chicken Man really wanted yellow chicks he "didn't have to kill in a short time" so we opted for a few Leghorns. I had absolutely no idea that Foghorn Leghorn was a Leghorn chicken until we took the plunge into chicken world. Didn't know that a Leghorn was a breed! Opened up a whole new world for me! Lol!

My youngest is 19, almost 20 months old. Mommy's Bliss Organic cough syrup and mucus relief is a LIFESAVER. You can give it to them starting at 4 months old. I get the one with immunity boost. I kept trying to just let everything run it's course for her but after we had been up all night long because she couldn't breathe or sleep, I searched for medicine for a kid under 2. She's had all of four doses and the difference is night and day. You can use it every 4-6 hours but I only give it to her twice a day and she's SO much better. Just for future reference in case your little one runs into a cold! :D

Oh jeeze!!! Well, that's good to know!!!! Will definitely have to keep researching wing clipping! It scares me but the thought of somebody getting hurt because they're not grounded and safe, scares me more.
