I have a hunch that maybe yours went out on a different shipment. Otherwise you would have them by now (I would think). Keeping my fingers crossed they come in *soon*. All were in good shape so that is a plus and it's not cold.

I'm not trying to scare anyone, but my friend got a call from the post office today that all of her chicks were dead. They were a frozen clump of chicks when she went to pick them up. She's heartbroken and feels so bad. They must have been left outside somewhere during shipping. She has already contacted ideal and she received excellent customer service, but she's not having them reshipped in fear that it will happen again. Mine arrived safely in even colder tempreatures, so this probably doesn't happen very often and was simply a mistake, it's just sad that so many had to die.

Got my chicks this morning, one DOA he is in the bator to see if he was just super cold not looking good he did have a pile of chicks on him. Very few looking off, some are running around the brooder than like crazy chicken men! It's so nice to hear peeping in the house again.

My chicks came yesterday, 36 little bantams, 26 are cochin and 10 are EEs. I got black, blue, splash, lav, white, partridge, and red/buff cochins. Sad I didnt get any barred, but I did get a nice assortment.

I got 25 of them but these are two that show off the main colors I got, partridge and white. I also got a few reds and buffs, as well as one that I'm not sure what color it is. They're adorable!

I ordered 50 cochin bantam assortment chicks and 5 silver laced cochin bantam chicks. I gave 16 of them to a friend. I received the colors white, blue, buff, red, partridge, barred, moltted, and silver laced. I also have 2 mystery colors that I haven't firgured out and 3 chicks that are either black or birchen. I also reiceved 2 silkie looking chicks as extras, they have 5 toes, darker skin, and head puffs.
