They are Silkies.

The problem now is how to get the number of birds down to a manageable number before the snow flys. Until then I still have 2 silkies sitting on eggs and 3 silkie eggs in the the incubator.

I had to do that as well. I am a little above my max with 32 now. I sold the Polish, BSL and some of the partridge rock.
I miss them.

My max is about 70 plus waterfowl. I need to move my ducks to my barn for the winter I think. Then the coop would stay cleaner for the winter.

That there be a lot of birds. I would love to have been able to keep mine but the space and fighting would have made it miserable here.

I started off with 6 one day old chicks 18 months ago. As of today I have 13 laying hens and 4 one day old chicks. I'm not sure what happened!
