It needs a new floor but otherwise it could fit a good 10-12 chickens. Also would need a new pen built around it since it's close to the woods thus why it's empty but I think we could move it since it's not attached to the ground. Don't even get me started on my empty barn <.<

I got 11, 1 yr old hens but I was at a sell and the was selling jubilee orpington chicks for $5 so I got 7 so I thought if I'm going to raise chicks may as well get a couple more other breeds so I got 6 chicks today and 32 more this week so the gives me at least 41 hens I don't know what the other 13 are yet

Oh my goodness! An empty coop AND barn!

I would be in so much trouble if I had those options.

I have an empty coop for the next 5 weeks then there will be BA chicks and hopefully a broody to raise them up. I find myself looking at a feed stores ad that is listing about 40 breeds. So hard to choose when there are so many pretty birds available.

I love the shirt too! My husband gave me one that said, "I have OCD - Obsessive Chicken Disorder" and it had pictures of chickens all over it. I literally wore it out! It finally fell apart after a washing and I had to retire it to the dust bin.

Went to the feed store to get maybe six chicks. Found out it was a dollar more each if I had less than 10. Got 12 to be "cost effective". And he threw in an extra for good measure. I went from 0 to 13 like that...
