My saving grace is that Tractor Supply never carries breeds that I want. If they start carrying Lavender Orps, Blue Splash Marans, Ayam Ceyami, or Croad Langshans then I will be in heap big trouble! (Or Heaven, whatever! )

i hear that..I don't go there for my feed cuz they're more expensive than Rural King or my local feed mill

I got sucked in to the trap yesterday. I don't get my feed from TSC but from a local feed mill. They usualy have their chicks listed on a board but kept down in the basement. Well, I walked in and they had a tub of ducklings. Usualy, I can walk away from ducklings since I'm happy with the couple muscovies I have at home but when they guy told me that they were goslings, I froze. I've wanted a goose for a while. Then when he said they got them instead of the ducks they orthogonal ordered and they were selling them half price, I was sucked in! I brought 2 little toulouse goslings home and hoped and prayed hubby wouldn't kill me lol.

Same here. Our 3 muscovies and 2 goslings were picked up without hubby's knowledge. But, as much as he complains at first, he really likes the muscovies (even though they're not social) and has been playing with the goslings. He's even started digging out a pond for them. I think he's secretly a duck person lol.

I'm assuming so. These are my first geese lol. It looked like it when they were playing in the water this morning.
