Chicken "mutt" club!!!

I don't think I introduced you guys to my latest hatch including Rudy, my little chick who has beaten all odds just like his namesake from that one football movie (the only one I have ever liked)

Here's some more of my home-grown mutts.

Munchkin, a d'uccle/bantam cochin mix. Fingers crossed on a female for this one.

This guy is most likely a cross between Sylvia, a black sexlink, and either Mars, our white rooster, or Gryff, our easter egger. He doesn't have a name because he isn't very friendly, and will most likely end up a meat bird.

This handsome sweetheart is still working on a name. Daddy is Gryff, our EE, but we're not sure if his mom is our white rock Winnie or a production red. He's got a sweet personality and gorgeous color, so even if we decide not to keep him, he'll be rehomed rather than eaten.

Ninja isn't really a proper mutt since both of his parents were bantam cochins, but mommy was a buff and daddy was a black, giving him really unique feathering.

Samurai is the son of our favorite BSL hen, Gladys. The poor guy has a gimpy wing, so we're not sure what we're going to do with him. He's such a sweetheart and cuddle bug that we're reluctant to eat him, even with his deformity.

Polly is by far the most outgoing and friendly rooster I've ever seen in my life. We thought for sure he was a hen until that comb came in! So I guess it's Pauly now? Polly earned his name by eagerly climbing onto the shoulder of anyone who touched him. He loves to cuddle, but he is undergoing training to not be such a nipper.

A female Easter Egger mix. Dad is most likely our white roo whose breed is unknown.

A couple of mutts exploring the yard. Barred rock mix and EE mix.

Kismet again

The Broody Duo with their three chicks. All are likely mutts.

Our barred rocks have been busy ~.~ Most likely, all of them are mutts, though there is a slim chance some of them are pure BR

I just caught Kismet laying today! She lays a creamy brown colored egg--what I consider a "normal" egg. What was crazy about it was that it was HUGE. Candled it, and sure enough, two yolks in there. Goodness, poor Kismet! lol

Poor thing, what a stretch!

The black/white one (Nip Nip) according to the sales lady is a Black sex link .... but she doesn't look like the other ones so not sure what she is.
The other two are golden sex links
