Unfortunately, she didn't inherit the blue egg gene from her father. I don't know exactly what egg color she does lay, because I haven't been able to catch her in the act, but our three EE hens are still the only ones laying blue eggs in our flock. I don't mind, because she's such a sweet, beautiful hen, but blue or green eggs would have been a nice bonus.
